Charley, ted, all..

Our away form up Norf this season is nothing short of sensational, up there we go and come back down the motorway with 3 points, must be great for our loyal followers. Another big ask today, they have some good players, and regardless of what some same about Traore he is a big threat who could rip us a new one if he's on form. I see this as a if we don't win, then don't lose game. A point would be alright.

Re: ⚽ Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Manuel - Agreed our away form is sensational 7 months undefeated.

I'll definitely take a draw today.

Re: ⚽ Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread
fraser - Yep, but I did highlight up Norf...as we know we pretty much always use to go up there as the southern softies and get rolled over, now not only are we getting results we are taking all 3 points.

Yes would take a draw, but I suppose it depends on how the game goes, ie if they equalize last minute then you wouldn't be so content.

Are wolves shorter odds than us to win?

Sorry fraser but as soon as read that i wished i hadnt! As along with Lawro tipping us and all the back slapping going on with the way we are playing i just have that horrible feeling................We may slip up, its the West Ham way!!!!

Happy to be proved wrong and look like a cunt as we canter to a comfortable win.

Syd - I think to say losing at Wolves would be a 'slip up' is slightly arrogant, not really what we are about.

Re: ⚽ Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread
You never quite know in the game after the international break & Wolves have been much improved under the new manager.
Getting results now and even early season were creating lots of chances.
Need to be right at it from the start to continue our sensational away form but as said a point wouldnt be a disaster

Sky just saying Antonio hasn't scored in 730 minutes v Wolves
Hat-trick of 30yd screamers today then?

Manuel, Wolves are a decent side don’t get me wrong on that and a slip up is no disrespect to them, but consistency hasn’t been there forte so far this season and we have had it in spades so far, well apart from that "slip up" against Brentford.

Maybe im still adjusting to this new West Ham, seen too many false dawns in my time that’s all, couple of wins and it looks like we will go on a run, only for it to be shot down as usual.

I’m just enjoying the moment more than anything, usually this time of year we are starting to talk about the relegation scrap we are about to get involved in……….

Re: ⚽ Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Syd - I really don't remember too many false dawns like this, even if you apparently do. Last 16 in Europe, 6th place last season, 3rd this, a false down? We have been looking good for over a year now.

Re: ⚽ Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Losing at home to a promoted side is a 'slip up' losing away to Wolves not so. If you can't see the difference then I'm not sure what to say really.

Can’t call this one, sit on the fence draw would be ok

Re: ⚽ Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread
If Nuno was still in charge I would be really confident, the way he set Wolves up suited us down to the ground. Not so sure now, but still confident we will turn up and give them a fucking battle, because we always do.

I totally agree, I am done with always thinking the wheel will fall off, we are not that team now. We always show up, we always compete and we have done for some time now.

Hard to shake old habits, but I am confident as fuck going into every game these days because I believe the team is that good.

Each to their own i suppose Manuel?

Singing Tevez and Maschareno (spelling), the appointment of Pellegrini and the money spent, the move from UP and promise of CL, Bilic, the Icelandic’s etc.

Just of the top of my head.…

Difference it we were always fragile, we never looked like a decent team. Even going back to Harry's great side, they were flaky. We aren't that team anymore, we have consistently performed over a long period of time.

Cheers, Charley.

I'm overcome by optimism.

Which on past experience is not a good sign.

Anyway: 0-6
